The Poetry Group

We recite our own poetry or that of other people or just listen; we discuss anything that transpires from the poem or about the poets themselves.

The number of people regularly attending the Ashbourne U3A Poetry Group has gradually diminished and the group seems to have run out of steam. I think that, if the group is to continue, it needs someone else to take over from me and give it a new lease of life.
I am therefore asking if anyone is interested in taking over the Poetry Group as I do not intend to continue running it in 2009. Pat

Any volunteers please?     If anyone is interested but is unsure of what is involved in being a group leader, please contact either our Chairman, Vice-Chairman or Secretary for information and advice.
