Le groupe pour la conversation française

We are a friendly group of people all having good reasons to want to practise and improve our French, with the help of Vivien who lived in France for 35 years. Members try to prepare a subject to talk about, which can be anything that takes our fancy, from what we have been doing in the week, to a subject of national or international interest.

Informal weekly meetings on Monday afternoons at 2.30pm in a different member’s house each week, when we try to give everyone a chance to say something and to help everyone make some progress in French.

We continue meeting every Monday afternoon at a different member’s house each week. The group has expanded recently and has been joined by several confirmed French speakers.
